Winter Retreat 2016

Our youth went to Pine Cove for our annual winter retreat. We had 22 youth and 10 counselors. The theme was about holiness. Holiness is the gateway through which intimacy with God happens. We are accepted by God not because of our good works, but by the finished work of Christ on the cross. Therefore, we pursue holiness not to be accepted but to enjoy God.

We invited the Cherians (Indian couple from DTS) to be our speaker for our annual winter retreat. God used them powerfully to remind our youth that friendship with the world makes us an enemy of God.
